A "ning" is a social network, like Facebook, but pertaining to a specific topic.

From Wikipedia - Ning competes with social sites like MySpace and Facebook by appealing to people who want to create their own social networks around specific interests with their own visual design, choice of features and member data.[7] The unique feature of Ning is that anyone can create their own social network for a particular topic or need, catering to specific membership bases.

Another social network aimed at professionals is LinkedIn

From Wikipedia - LinkedIn (pronounced /ˈlɪŋkt.ˈɪn/) is a business-oriented social networking site. Founded in December 2002 and launched in May 2003,[2] it is mainly used for professional networking. As of 11 February 2010, LinkedIn had more than 60 million registered users,[3] spanning more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

Stop Motion Video

I created an instructional video today on how to embed a Glog onto a SchoolCenter "Scrapbook" (type) page, and how to one line of extra HTML coding to make it clickable and open full-sized. The big thing about these instructions is that you have to scale the glog down if you want to fit more than one on a SC page.

The video is housed off the Tech Dept. webpage (http://www.minot.k12.nd.us/tech), under the "Help Sheets" link, in the "SchoolCenter Tips" section.

Here's the direct link - note the reference to a TinyPaste page containing the extra HTML coding:

My example page, containing the embeded glog is:

Hope this helps.
