Top Apps for Education 2011

This is a list of some of the Top 100 Tools for Learning for 2011.

I have made comments about the apps as they pertain to which ones we are covering in this course.

For example, Yahoo! recently announced that they are discontinuing support for Delicious. Personally I feel that Diigo is a much better alternative for educators and I switched to Diigo over two years ago.

I am having you use Blogger instead of Wordpress because a) it is easier to use and b) it is part of the Google Suite of Apps.

We will use Edmodo instead of Moodle, and Google Presentation instead of Prezi.

We will use Google Presentation instead of Prezi, Slideshare or PowerPoint because it is part of the Google Suite of Apps.
